Our Step Toward Sustainability and Renewable Energy: Investing in the Future with Our Solar Power Plant (SPP) Project!

As one of Turkey’s leading industrial kitchen equipment manufacturers, Öztiryakiler continues to advance its energy transformation initiatives in line with our sustainability vision. Through the solar energy systems implemented at our production facilities in Çorlu (Ergene) and Antalya, we are making our manufacturing processes more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.

At our Ergene facility, the existing solar system currently supplies 78% of our energy needs. With the second phase investment, this rate will reach 100%. In Antalya, our current capacity is sufficient to meet the entire energy demand of the facility. With the planned second phase in Antalya, we aim to increase Öztiryakiler’s total installed solar energy capacity to 3 MW.

Our solar energy systems not only reduce our energy costs but also enable us to fulfill our environmental responsibilities. Once the targeted 3 MW capacity is achieved, thousands of tons of carbon emissions will be prevented annually. This is a tangible reflection of Öztiryakiler’s direct contribution to the environment through its sustainable industrial approach.

Looking ahead, we also plan to launch a wind power plant (WPP) investment, which will enable our Istanbul Hadımköy facility to meet its entire energy demand from renewable sources.

In addition to renewable energy investments, we are also developing energy efficiency projects. We view this not merely as an economic gain, but as a long-term investment in the future of our planet. In line with our ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification, we prioritize reducing our energy consumption each year through continuous improvement plans.

Our goal is to strengthen our leadership in sustainable manufacturing and to build a cleaner, more efficient production infrastructure powered by renewable energy sources.
